COMPETITOR TERMS & CONDITIONS and DISCLAIMER
I, the competitor making this entry via the LiveHeats registration platform, acknowledge and agree to the following as a precondition to entry into this competition and participation in this event:
I agree to unconditionally release the organisers, officials, affiliated groups, all sponsors, volunteers and any other parties involved or associated with the event and or competition, from any liability, loss and damage (of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising) incurred either whilst travelling to and from or participating in or being present at the event and or competition.
I am not suffering from any illness or health issues that may put myself or my fellow competitors at risk due to my participation.
I understand that skateboarding is a dangerous recreational activity and that I will be solely responsible for my actions and their consequences particularly with respect to loss and damage to myself, others, my equipment or that of others.
I will strictly abide by the rules of the event and the competition and understand that all judges’, officials’ and organisers’ decisions are final.
I understand that if entering an under-age division, I declare that I have not attained that age as of 31 Dec 2025. If entering an over-age division, I declare that I have attained that age by 1 Jan 2025.
I am over the age of 18 years (or if I am not, my parent or legal guardian consent to my entry and will sign a disclaimer form on my behalf prior to my event/s).
I understand that at the time of lodging my application to enter the event, a permit for the event may not have been issued by the Sunshine Coast Council. If a permit does not issue and the event cannot be held (for whatever reason), then my entry fee/s will be refunded in full and the organisers are released from any other liability or obligation to me.
I accept that lodging an entry application and paying the entry fee does not necessarily guarantee me a place in the event, as the organisers have the right to limit entry numbers in any of the divisions at any time. If my entry application is not ultimately accepted by the organisers, and I am advised accordingly, my entry fees will be refunded in full. I accept that the organisers may not refund merchant fee’s or admin fee’s as part of my refund.
I accept that my entry application is deemed to have been accepted by the organisers upon lodgement and payment of the entry fees, unless I am advised to the contrary. That being the case, I agree that my entry fees are non-refundable except in extenuating family or medical circumstances. If such circumstances occur, I will provide my refund request in writing to the organisers and at least ten (10) days prior to the Festival being held. Any refund made by the Sunny Skate Series under an extenuating circumstances request will incur an administration processing fee of $10 per refund.
The organisers reserve the right to add further conditions as may be required by local, state or federal government regulations under biosecurity of health order directives.
End of conditions as of May 2025.
