Learn to Skate with Chiggy’s Skateboarding – Where Skateboarding Dreams Come True!

We’ve been participating in the homeschooling group Chiggy’s has been running on Mondays. Amazing environment, super welcoming community. Can’t wait till my 2 younger boys can join the fun. Highly recommended!

This morning at Wondai skatepark was our daughters first time on a skateboard. Chiggys came and set up everything for the kids. They provided all the gear and guidance (no charge) that made her experience fun and memorable. She is 4.5 and excited to keep learning fearlessly.

What a hidden gem. Awesome location with an impressive indoor setup for all manner of skating (inc scooters) in a safe environment with different ramp setups for all skill levels. A bonus being they can operate in any weather conditions all year around. They have loaner boards if you're just trying it out or don't yet have your own, and also a good range of parts, supplies and seriously sweet looking boards if you're in need. The owner (Mat) also has his own designs too with Friends Skateboards, so be sure to check those out. Staff are really freindly and helpful. They do all kind of events, skate parties and coaching also visiting local skate parks all around the region. Check out their website for hours and more info for costs ($20 for 3hr session) and/or membership or private hire. They generally open around 12.30am?-9.30pm most weekdays, and open earlier during school holidays (9.30am I think?!). Pretty sure I was told they do bbqs on Fridays too. Definitely worth checking out if you're trying to get the kids out of the house. Will definitely be taking my son.

My 7 y.o loves every second in Chiggy's Skateboarding. Chiggy Skateboarding is a wonderful community to be part of. It gives so much to the kids. Thank you Matte for all you have created!

Pretty awesome. Love the flat areas an the surface is almost perfect being not to slippery nor rough. The long flat ledge an rail is great adding that Primitive skatepark vibe. Sticker slap vert wall is huge... Cheers Chiggs!

what an awesome team Matt "chiggy" and the entire team are... our sons 2nd year and his skills - and enthusiasm for skating and learning is growing term on term. shout out to these guys- organised and awesome- highly recommend! Ross

My son has been doing lessons with Chiggy for 4 years and it's always been his favourite part of the week. Chiggy is magic with the kids...they love him and they learn so quickly the way he teaches! We go to the indoor skatepark weekly and all the staff are so friendly and always jump in to help out with perfecting skills. It's such a great environment to both learn at and challenge yourself. Definitely recommend the indoor, even for little kids. It's a super friendly environment!

Such an incredible space for kids to come too. Our sons confidence has grown so dramatically since starting these skateboarding lessons and it has been so amazing to get to know the skateboarding community. The class is our boys favourite day of the week. Highly recommended by us. We love Chiggys!

Our kids love Mat (Chiggy), The Indoor Skatepark and Chiggys lessons. He is kind, great with kids, welcoming to newbies and a great teacher. Thanks for being such a legend Chig!
